Team Adoption Matters raises over £5K at the 2025 Great Manchester Run

Eight determined Adoption Matters & Foster Care Matters supporters joined the AJ Bell Great Manchester Run on 18 May 2025 to raise vital funds for the charity.

As the sun shined, the biggest AJ Bell Great Manchester Run in a decade saw over 35,000 runners fill the streets with colour as they completed the 10K and half marathon courses, cheered on by over 150,000 supporters.

Together, our eight supporters raised just over £5,000 for the children’s charity.

Adoption Matters’ Fundraising and Relationship Manager, Annie O’Neill, comments:

“As a charity, Adoption Matters is incredibly proud, thankful and grateful to our eight amazing runners, who crossed the finish line in excellent times, and to those who have supported them. We are so grateful for their remarkable efforts”.
