In 2024, the Adoption Matters family grew as we launched our not-for-profit fostering agency Foster Care Matters.
We have witnessed the crisis in foster care not seen in the UK for many years, which coupled with the current cost of living crisis, is only looking to deepen.
As a children’s charity with children’s needs at their heart, we wanted to be an organisation that steps in to help this crisis and offer local authorities and our foster parents competitive rates, putting children before profit.
Foster Care Matters covers the North West, Stoke-on-Trent and surrounding areas. We re-invest back into our services to offer quality support and ongoing therapeutic training to our foster parents, to help them, make children matter.
