On Sunday 01 February 2026, Adoption Matters were delighted to provide a helping hand to our wonderful supporters John Pass Jewellers.
Annie O’Neill, our Fundraising and Relationship Manager, and her son, joined other volunteers and members of the John Pass Jewellers team at the Tawny Hotel in Stoke-on-Trent to help plant trees, in order to promote leaving a lasting legacy for positive climate change.
The task attendees had was no mean feat given there were over 200 trees to plant without mentioning 30 metres of hedgerow.
John Pass Jewellers have been incredible supporters of our children’s charity over the last two years, twice providing the opportunity for some of our families to experience the magical Polar Express Christmas experience on Churnet Valley Railway – you can read more about this here.

“My son and I really enjoyed doing our bit for the environment – and it felt great to give something back to a company that has supported our adoptive families so wonderfully.”
