First Fab Friday Charity Lottery Draw Winner - Adoption Matters

Recently, our charity lottery partner, Bee-Ethical, announced a wonderful enhancement to our lottery: four weekly Fab Friday draws which run alongside the big monthly draw – all at no extra cost to players (£10 per month).

Last week, the first Fab Friday draw was completed and we are delighted to say that one of our very own players won a prize.

Naturally, our winner wanted to remain anonymous, but they did offer to give us some feedback on their win:

I’ve been playing the Adoption Matters charity lottery since November 2025, so I am delighted to become a winner after only 5 months!

We signed up as we are in the process of adoption and Adoption Matters have been brilliant – they give help and advice every step of the way and the levels of expertise, care, openness and friendliness that we have received from Adoption Matters is second to none.

The staff in general, but our social worker in particular, have been in our corner since we first got in touch – the work that they are doing is so vitally important in giving young children a brighter future and their tireless work in creating new families is simply wonderful.

When we signed up to become adopters, we hadn’t realised that Adoption Matters was a charity, which means that the great work they do is made possible by securing funding and donations, therefore, signing up to the lottery was a no brainer – we know it helps to provide the charity with a sustainable income, meaning families like us receive excellent support.

With our new little one arriving in our lives very soon, the winnings will go towards something special for their bedroom.

If you want to support this brilliant charity, I would say playing their charity lottery is a great way to do it – the winning is great of course – but knowing that taking part is helping adopted children is the best feeling ever.
