Four wonderful walkers flew the Adoption Matters flag at this years Chester Business Club Charity Walk, which took place on Sunday 21 September 2025.
Representing our children’s charity this year was Annie O’Neill, our Fundraising and Relationship Manager, Annie’s daughter, Lindsey Arrowsmith, who is part of our Centre for Fostering and Adoption Support team, and Lindsey’s son, Jack.
Also participating was Annie’s beautiful dog, Ada.
Fortunately, after fears the day before, the weather remained kind for the six-mile-long trek, which started and finished at Chester Racecourse, and our teams amazing efforts haven’t gone unnoticed with over £880, including gift aid, being raised so far.
Annie commented:
“It was fantastic to be able participate in this event in a bid to raise funds and awareness for our charity.
“We appreciate everybody who has been able to support us, as any donation, no matter how big or small, can go a long way in contributing to the important work that we do.
“We would also like to thank Chester Business Club for having us at their annual event, which we have once again been proud beneficiaries of.”
All funds raised from the walk will go towards more support for our families and adopted adults.
