Adoption Matters is very fortunate to have five amazing people running for our charity in this year’s Great Manchester 10k which is taking place on Sunday 26th May 2024.
To run 10k is no mean feat and we are extremely thankful to our supporters – we wish them all a huge amount of luck for this event.
If you are a supporter of adoption, and/or our charity, and you would like to get behind team Adoption Matters for this event, then we would be extremely grateful if you could consider sponsoring one or more of our runners.

Team Adoption Matters:
David Neal – David is one of our amazing adopters. He is remarkably taking part in both the Great North Run and the Great Manchester 10k this year in aid of our charity – what an amazing effort!
Amy Mather – Amy is one of our wonderful team members and she has been part of our organisation for seven years.
Ben Mather – Ben is Amy’s son and he will be running the Great Manchester 10k alongside his mum to show his support to our charity.
John Williams – John is a former colleague of Annie O’Neill, our Fundraising & Relationship Manager. He will be running to show his support to both our charity and his friend Annie, who joined us in July 2023.
Ellie Whitworth – Ellie is the daughter of a member of our team and she is commendably taking on the challenge to show support to her mums work.
