Music Matters is run by three music industry professionals, Amy, Luke and Tricia and volunteers who will all guide and support you as well as giving you lots of tips and tricks to develop your own individual musical style. We are looking for new members to join us in our creative space to learn to play instruments, to sing, to perform, but most of all – have fun!
If you would like an informal chat with Helen from our Centre for Adoption Support about the group, contact Helen direct by email at: info@centreforadoptionsupport.org or call us on Tel: 01925 531 118 or you can click the link below to complete a short form and one of the team will get back to you.
K is eleven years old and has attended The Centre for Adoption Support Music Matters sessions online for a couple of months. Amy, one of the music leaders at Music Matters, commented:
“During the sessions K learnt to understand the basic tools within music software Logic Pro X, where he produced and arranged his own music using loops and samples. He also wrote rap lyrics to accompany the music both in the sessions and during his own time. He then moved on to recording the rap and edited the vocals on Logic Pro X. He was brave enough to share it with the whole Music Matters group, not only did they love it but it inspired the other’s to be more confident and some want to share what they have been learning”.
We then shared it in team meeting with staff and everyone was so impressed we asked if we could share it with … the WORLD! Enjoy. Click the below link to here K’s song!
Music Matters is delivered by Adoption Matters Centre for Adoption Support in partnership with plugged in and supported using public funding by The National Foundation for Youth Music.
