Local children’s charity Adoption Matters is asking people to take on the amazing challenge of a Tandem Skydive.  On Saturday 19th October 2019, the Tilstock aircraft again will take supporters up to an incredible 10,000 feet, nearly 2 miles in the air. There, you’ll be able to check out the amazing views over the Shropshire countryside on the way up before sliding to the edge of the door attached to one of the team of instructors. Freefall for up to 30 seconds before the parachute opens at about 5000 feet above the ground – and enjoy the experience of a lifetime!

Adoption Matters Fundraising and Relationship Manager, Sarah Johnson, commented,

“We were so grateful to our amazing supporters who raised so much money for our charity in May that we decided to hold another Tandem Skydive Day”.

Amy, who took part in the Skydive as part of the staff crew from The Ice Cream Farm near Chester, said: “This is one of the most amazing things I have ever done”.

All money raised helps to provide the vital life-long support and training given to families following the adoption process for as long as they may need it.

We ask all of our skydiving bravehearts to raise a minimum of £400 in sponsorship to help Adoption Matters support our children and our families. In return they will receive fundraising help and support from us right up until the big day. We’ll also be there at the airfield to cheer you on and wave from the ground!
