Keen runner and Adoption Matters adopter, Sarah Savage is running the Manchester 10K this Sunday 10 May to fundraise and raise awareness of Adoption.

Sarah, who originally hails from Harrow in Middlesex, together with her husband, adopted two little girls in 4 years ago.  Due to her adoption journey, Sarah is now studying to be a counsellor, with the wish to help and support others that are going through the adoption process.

Sarah has kindly shared her full adoption story here.

Jenny MacQuire, Marketing Manager at Adoption Matters, said: “We’d like to thank Sarah for choosing to raise awareness of the work we do in both her run and sharing her story with us.  Hearing from ‘real’ adopters is so powerful and we are so grateful to all our adopters who choose to share their wonderful stories”
