CEO, Norman Goodwin announces retirement

Adoption Matters Chief Executive Officer, Norman Goodwin, CBE, is planning to retire in late 2021 after 36 years working for Adoption Matters, 29 years as CEO.

Under Norman’s leadership and supported by a talented and committed team of staff and volunteers, Adoption Matters has grown and developed to be the Outstanding rated, innovative children’s charity and agency it is today.  We are now recruiting for a new CEO whom the Board of Trustees hope to appoint in late July 2021.

This marks the end of a hugely successful era and the start of a new chapter for the Adoption Matters ‘Family’. Norman will remain in his post during a transition and handover period and we hope, Covid-19 restrictions permitting, to host an event that families, friends and colleagues will be able to attend to say our fond farewells.
