National Adoption Week 2018 will take place from the 15th to 21st October 2018. As ever the campaign will aim to find homes for those children who are waiting for their families right now, over 2000 children. The week will also highlight the current shortage of adopters. Did you know that in England, children waiting to be adopted outnumber adopters by nearly 3 to 1?
This year’s campaign will focus on the adopter.
What does it take to be an adopter? What skills and attributes are required? We will be sharing some of our own adopter stories throughout the week as well as our ‘Top 10 Skills needed to be a great adopter’ tips from our very own adopters on what they think makes a great adopter!
