Shape 1 Shape 2

Leading children’s charity and voluntary adoption agency Adoption Matters has 20 places for the Simplyhealth Great Manchester Run 10K which takes place on Sunday, 24 May 2020. We are asking for a registration fee of £20 (instead of the usual £39) and a minimum sponsorship of £200.

More than 30,000 people took part last year from world-class athletes to fundraising families.  Along the course route there are local bands, drummers, music and cheering points to help you along the way.  The atmosphere on the day is simply electric and welcoming for all the family.

Leading the way for team Adoption Matters is their Fundraising and Manager, Sarah Johnson who is taking part in the run alongside Jamie Bennett, a Trustee of the charity who is also taking part along with a group of friends.

All supporters will be supplied with a Team Adoption Matters running vest and will be guided through the process by the fundraising team and offered ongoing support through the team Adoption Matters Facebook Group.

Sarah Johnson, comments: “It’s the first time Adoption Matters is taking part in the Great Manchester Run so I wanted to lead by example by having a go at the 10K run myself and raising funds!  The run is suitable for all abilities and is a fun, family friendly event so why not take advantage of our registration fee, have some fun and raise funds too!”

If you would like to support Adoption Matters at this event then please email us at fundraising@adoptionmatters.org to express your interest or contact us on 0300 123 1066.

All funds raised will go towards supporting more families and children through adoption and supporting more families for life.
