You do not have to live in a big house, be ‘wealthy’ or be in employment to adopt, but you will need to demonstrate that you are financially stable and able to support yourself and your child or children now and in the future. Your finances will be discussed during your assessment, if there is anything you are unsure about, raise it with us as early as possible.
