As the global effect of coronavirus (COVID-19) continues to evolve, Adoption Matters is firmly committed to the health and safety of our staff, our families and the colleagues we work with across the UK. We are closely monitoring the changing situation and complying with the latest Government and public health guidance.
We want to assure you that we are still here for you and we understand that good adoption support can play such a vital role in maintaining families’ wellbeing. As a primarily home working organisation, we are well set up to function as things unfold over the next few weeks. We have had remote technology in place for many years and our IT systems are well placed to serve you over the coming uncertain weeks and months.
In line with this latest guidance and to ensure the well-being of applicants, families and our team, we have postponed some of our planned Centre for Adoption Support workshops:
If you are an adoptive family and were booked to attend one of our Centre for Adoption Support events listed, we will be in touch with you soon to advise, if you were not booked on and planned to attend, please contact the Centre at info@centreforadoptionsupport or call us on Tel: 01925 534 118
Our Stay & Play sessions are for Adoption Matters adoptive parents with pre-school age children only. The groups offer a chance to meet other parents whilst their children play safely under the supervision of the Stay & Play leaders.
Each session will have a theme. Contact us on 01925 534 118 for more details about this session
This group is only open to Adoption Matters families and is free of charge.
