Kate and Martin Slack’s Garden Party in Aid of Adoption Matters

Adoption Matters is delighted to reveal that Kate and Martin Slack’s Garden Party in Aid of Adoption Matters will be returning in 2025. 

Kate and Martin have kindly offered to hold another Garden Party in aid of Adoption Matters at their beautiful Cheshire home again this year. For those of you that have attended in previous years, you will recall what beautiful gardens and grounds the house has, along with the small forestry at the rear.

Like last year, Kate is arranging for herself and the local villagers to bake, so please do bring some cash with you so you and your families can indulge in some treats. Teas and coffees will also be available.

For our budding nature lovers, there will be another Forest School and it will be run by Cheshire Forest School, who have kindly offered to provide their services for free – which is fantastic and we are so grateful. The Forest School is owned by Caroline Rogers, who is a Level Four Forest School Practitioner, and it has lots of activities on offer, including toasting marshmallows over a firepit – the children will be sure to have the opportunity to explore the forest in all of its glory.

There are a limited amount of places available on the Forest School, so please do book early to avoid disappointment.

The Children’s Entertainer, Andy Green, will be back again to provide the children with lots of fun, music and games. There will also be another children’s tombola and, of course, a raffle for the adults to win some luxury items!

There is no charge for children and tickets will cost just £10 for adults. 

Please do feel free to invite your friends and families. All funds raised goes towards more adoption support for adoptive families, adopted adults and birth families.

This event sold quickly last year, so get your tickets booked early to avoid disappointment. Not only is it a chance to kick back in a beautiful environment, it is also an opportunity to make a difference to children and families lives and catch up with fellow adopters and adoptees.
