Leading adoption charity Adoption Matters is delighted to receive a donation of £750 from The Entertainer Toy Store. One of the agencies own adopters, who adopted their little girl through the agency, nominated the charity to receive a donation through The Entertainer’s Jack Gives Back initiative supported by Pennies – the digital charity box.

The Entertainer is the largest independent toy retailer in the UK with 121 stores and our local communities are at the heart of what their business; and staff are passionate about supporting child-focused charities.

Adoption Matters adopter Stephen, who nominated the charity commented: “It is an absolute pleasure to nominate Adoption Matters. The team there did so much for our family, it’s great to be able to give back”

Adoption Matters Chief Executive, Norman Goodwin CBE commented: “We are so grateful to Stephen for nominating us for this donation and of course to The Entertainer for being so generous. This money will help us to support and recruit more families for children and every single penny helps”.

Adoption Matters cover the whole of the North West, North Wales, Yorkshire & Humber and Stoke & Staffordshire. The charity celebrates their 70th anniversary this year and are always looking for corporate partners to work with them to sponsor events or projects.  If you feel your company would like to give back and help children build brighter futures, contact Jenny MacQuire, Marketing Manager on 01244 390 938 or email: info@adoptionmatters.org
