Adoption Matters adoptive families have been impressing staff with their fantastic artistic talents!

The leading children’s charity ran a “Design a Christmas Card” competition in November for all of their families, which included concurrent planning carers and families who have accessed support and training through their Centre for Adoption Support.  The service received a great response with some artistic designs.

All entries were displayed in the Chester head office and on the charity’s social media pages.  The final judging panel chose the winning design by Hannah, age 9.  Hannah’s first place design has now been incorporated into the agency Christmas e-card (pictured) and Hannah received £30 store vouchers and a professional graphic design training session.

Adoption Matters has also been featuring many of the entries in a social media advent calendar during December – so please do visit Facebook and Twitter to see all the wonderful entries.

Chief Executive, Norman Goodwin CBE said: “We had a great response to the competition which was brilliant to see.  The real aim of this was to provide a real fun activity that involved adopters and their children”.

Hannah, the winning artist, is a member of one of our concurrent planning families and was delighted with her prize and the e-card design.
