This year we were delighted to be one of the chosen charities for the Chester Cathedral Christmas Tree Festival.
The festival, which returned for its seventh year in 2019, ran from November through to January 2020 and featured more than 50 majestic Christmas trees decorated by schools and businesses from across Chester and Cheshire. In November, our Centre for Adoption Support Choir hand made some decorations which will be hung on our own Christmas tree at the festival.
The festival raised over £9,000, which was split between ourselves and the other nominated charity, Stick ‘n’ Step.
Adoption Matters Chief Executive Norman Goodwin CBE said: “We were delighted to be chosen as a beneficiary charity of this wonderful event which we have been part of for the last three years. We are very grateful for this donation which will help support many more families and children through their adoption journey.”
