Adoption Matters is proud to share that our adopter, April, has featured in the Diva Magazine.
April is a solo adopter from Liverpool and adoption was always part of her plan – in fact, it was something she had dreamed of doing since childhood.
Within the article, which can be read here, April says:
“I thought being single, LGBTQIA+, and living in a small house would count against me, but it turns out that everything I thought was a barrier was actually a strength.”
April’s passion for spreading adoption awareness was also evident in her support of the recent National Adoption Week campaign, which delivered a powerful reminder that children in need of adoption aren’t seeking perfection and what instead matters most is your ability to provide a stable, loving, and welcoming place to belong.
