Adoption Matters, children’s charity and one of the largest voluntary adoption agencies in the UK, was delighted to have an amazing 8 runners in the world’s biggest (and some say best) half marathon, The Great North Run, which took place in Newcastle on Sunday 11 September. The run is famous for its famous North East warm welcome and unbeatable atmosphere and our runners agreed with that!

“We are so grateful to all of our runners for their dedication in competing in the Great North Run and of course for supporting our charity. It was wonderful to see so many friends and family of our own staff too – perhaps we should encourage our staff a little more to get their trainers on!. From everyone at Adoption Matters, we want to thank you all so much for this amazing achievement”.
