In 2022, we were delighted to be awarded membership of the North East England Rainbow Alliance. The Rainbow Alliance is a group of representatives from different agencies, including Office for the Member of Parliament for the City of Durham, Durham County Council, Durham University, Durham Constabulary, Durham and Darlington Fire and Rescue Service, who are all about raising awareness and improving responses for LGBT+ people living and working across Co Durham and Darlington and the North East.
Durham Pride Celebrates it’s 10th Anniversary
We are also delighted to confirm our attendance at the very first Pride in Armed Forces Day on Saturday 27th May.
Adoption Matters are also very proud to be marching in the the Durham Pride Parade through the city on Sunday 28 May. Details of this can be found here.
