Adoption Matters are delighted to offer over 50 adoption information evenings throughout 2020 with more to be added in the Liverpool area soon. We are also holding several evenings throughout LGBT Adoption and Fostering Week 2-8 March 2020 including an event at the LGBT Foundation in Manchester.
Our adoption information evenings are an informal event for around 2 hours, for anyone interested in adoption who wants to find out a little more. Members of our team and wherever possible, one of our own adopters, will be on hand during the evening to chat about adoption, the different options available and we will cover the ongoing support and training available to all of our approved adopters.
Our support and training starts from the earliest stages of your assessment right through to approval, once a child has been placed and beyond. We offer support and training for as long as you need it, from the first phone call to the first grandchild !
In 2020, we are holding evenings across Yorkshire in Leeds and Selby, the North East in Durham, Hexham and Morpeth, then also in Chester, Manchester, Hale, Stockport, Liverpool, Wirral, St. Helens, Wigan, Warrington, Stoke on Trent, Ribble Valley.
