Salary: Up to NJC Scale 41 (£36,379) for Child Care Award
Our Concurrent Planning service offers a route to early permanence for babies and very young children whose birth parents have a background known to social work teams meaning the chances of returning home are much lower than other children entering care. The service is the largest of its kind and the only concurrency service in the North West.
The service is a partnership between two long established charities and independent adoption agencies, Caritas Care and Adoption Matters. The two agencies together have over 140 years’ experience in working with Local Authorities across the UK to find families for children in care and provide adoption support services. Both organisations are proudly rated as ‘Outstanding’ by Ofsted and registered adoption agencies. Together they have a track record of delivering high quality permanency services to local authorities across the UK.
Your role would entail providing a Concurrent Planning Service in partnership with Caritas Care and a comprehensive adoption service. Click here for news on the service expansion plans.
Adoption Matters are members of the Local Government Pension Scheme.
